Dear Folks, 

The UUCC monthly community meal and give away have been well received and attended by a growing circle of unhoused neighbors. At our last gathering we noticed a lack of bags of all kinds: 

• Plastic disposable bags for taking food home
• reusable grocery bags help folks take their new belongings with them
• Backpacks are very popular 

We can also take donations of gloves, socks, personal care items, jackets.  

If you would like to donate, Athens folks please bring them to the church by March 1 and I will bring them to Cortland for the next give away on March 9.
